Pros and Cons, Nimbuzz for Android Review

I would like to organize this Nimbuzz for Android review as what I did in the Nimbuzz for Symbian -- list pros and cons of this popular free mobile app.

Pros:

1. Nimbuzz supports most popular IM networks including MSN, Yahoo, GTalk, AIM/ICQ, Facebook, MySpace and Hyves. But one thing worth to be mentioned is that as Skype block all third parties mobile clients, Nimbuzz doesn't support it anymore
   
2. The voice quality of Nimbuzz is one of the best among numerous mobile VoIP apps. It's pretty clear and the delay is almost neglectable if the bandwidth is sufficient, let’s say with WiFi connection.
3. Users can enable the push notification of new message when offline.
4. It provides a paid service, which is called NimbuzzOut, to call ordinary phone numbers.
5. It integrates default settings of many SIP service providers, while users also can define their favorite SIP service themselves.
6. The UI of Nimbuzz is quite nice， for example, a slide bar is used to end a call, which makes it less possible to hangup a call by accidentally touch.
7. Nimbuzz can be moved to SD card/USB storage, which is important to my old Motorola Milestone.
8. Nimbuzz supports multiple platforms including Android, iPhone, Symbian and Java ME
   

Cons:

1. Requirement of bandwidth for Nimbuzz’s VoIP feature is too much for GPRS/EDGE or even UMTS.
2. The UI of Nimbuzz is not well considered in some aspects. For example, users have to choose to use cellular, SIP or NimbuzzOut to make call to normal phones in general settings and cannot change it on-fly for different numbers.
3. The Android version of Nimbuzz doesn't support the chat room, which is supported by the Symbian version.
4. The Android version of Nimbuzz doesn't support Twitter, which is supported by the Symbian version.
5. Nimbuzz for Android doesn't support video call.
   

Except Cons mentioned, Nimbuzz has some other issues on my Motorola Milestone with Android 2.2 Froyo, but they may be individual cases thus not included in this review.
